Founded in 2024, Smidgen Games is a tabletop game production company located outside Baltimore, MD. Inspired by a passion for accessible and easy-to-learn games, we aim to create compact, travel-sized board games that anyone can enjoy. Our founder Doug has over a decade of experience in user experience design & a lifelong love for designing board games. He set out to address the frustrations of lengthy setups & complicated rulebooks.

We believe that gaming should be inclusive, accessible, & replayable, making every game night a memorable experience—without the hassle. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a seasoned enthusiast, our games are designed to be easy to learn, quick to play, & full of strategic depth.

Looking ahead, we plan to expand our lineup with new & exciting games, including collaborations with other designers who share our vision. We’re excited to debut our games at Pax Unplugged 2024 & connect with the gaming community as we continue to grow and innovate.
